The Catskill Wellness Center Click

The Catskill Wellness Center consists of 13,500 square feet of heated space. Partially retrofit and partially new construction, the heat distribution system combines radiant floor heat, panel radiators and towel warmers. |

Each of the 11 residential suites is heated with panel radiators in the bedrooms and towel warmers in each bathroom. Thermostatic radiator valves provide independent temperature control with wall-mounted actuators. |

The thermostatic radiator valves were centrally located in wall cabinets for ease of servicing. | |
|
The control panel for this project contains two independent mixes: one for low temperature delivery to the slab areas, and one for the higher temperature delivery for the areas where the tubing is stapled up underneat the flooring. The boiler system consists of two Buderus atmospheric gas boilers. The boilers are staged, rotated and reset to provide greater efficiency and reliability. |
