This project is a retrofit to a 150-year-old schoolhouse. The first floor is heated with radiant. The upper floors are heated with a combination of recessed fin-tube and individual kick space heaters. This project won First Place in the 2000 Radiant Panel Association's System Showcase Awards in the Retrofit Division and is the subject of a feature article in Radiant Heating Report 2000.

The radiant tubing was stapled to the underside of the sub floor. Aluminum heat emission plates were used to enhance the heat output of the system.

The hot tub room is heated with fin-tube located in a custom enclosure and a towel warmer was installed for the luxury of warm towels.

The control system was built in two stages. During the first stage of the renovation, the radiant control system was built on site.

During the second phase, the upper floors were heated and the control panel was fabricated in our shop.
