The
30,000-ft Sunwize Technologies building consists of 15,000 square
feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of radiantly heated
manufacturing space in 5 zones. This project won an award in the
Commercial Division of the Radiant Panel Association's System Showcase

The tubing layout was first drawn on our CAD system and then transferred
to the wire mesh with different colored paint to differentiate the
different loops. This allowed for an accurate and quick installation.

The
concrete was pumped through a 6" pipe and hose. The tubing
was secured to protect it from damage during the pouring of the
concrete.

The
control panel was prefabricated in our shop and delivered on a rolling
panel dolly. Once
the walls were in place, the control panel was installed and connected
to the in-slab mains.

The boiler system consists of two Weil McLain atmospheric gas boilers.
The boilers are staged, rotated and reset to provide greater efficiency
and reliability. |
